just something makes you lock eyes with it and when that building knows
that you have some type of ability to connect
with that other spirit dimension,
the sound is deafening.
And that’s exactly what is going on here
in Flagstaff, Arizona, at the Weatherford Hotel, guys.
This interesting building that looks
like it’s wearing a witch hat had something happen back
1912 this guy named Henry Rockmark. Henry Rockmark was by all accounts an
upstanding citizen when he checked into the Weatherford Hotel in October 1912.
But soon he was ranting and raving at entities only he could see. He was so
terrified, he drew his gun and fired three shots, bang, bang, bang. But what was he firing
at? Whatever was haunting him then allegedly consumed him to the point that he was full
of rage and panic. The sheriff was called, but Rockmark continued his rampage. After
The rock mark began firing at the lawmen.
The sheriff shot him dead.
And whatever haunted him is still inside this building
with his spirit.
And it is that energized chaos that is causing havoc
on the staff and people who check in.
And this is the reason why the Weatherfoot Hotel
has reached out for help.
Sam Green and Henry Taylor have owned the Weatherford since 1975.
It is my understanding that both of you who have owned this place for so long are totally
unaware of a major dark event that occurred here in 1912.
I reveal to Henry and Sam the shocking story of Henry Rockmark.
To hear about a man that was shot and killed in your lobby right here by the sheriff, what
does that speak to about the spirits here?
In history it’s exciting, but in the moment it’s scary.
Have you ever had anybody like Henry Rockmark who stayed here and was really freaked out
by something?
Yeah, they’ve stayed here and they haven’t wanted to stay after they’ve checked in.
They haven’t wanted to.
So they’ve checked out.
Through the years we’ve had many people come down the stairs after staying here for
an evening and have comments about various feelings they’ve had in the room or an experience
seeing the mystical figure slip through a wall or through a glass window.
I talk about a gal that we used to work for us that felt, she felt there were two ghosts.
There’s a good ghost and there’s a bad ghost.
Algernon was the bad ghost.
Algernon was his name.

Sam and Henry lived in the hotel for a time and their dog Mona was terrified
of the unfinished basement,
which has now been converted into a bar area.
Mona was so good, she was so smart.
She would not follow me past the cement
across the dirt floor.
She stayed there and she howled at me, would not come.
Come on, Mona, come on, Mona, would not come.
Sam believes something in the hotel
had a hand in Mona’s untimely death.
So how do you think the building contributed to her death, her death, stress from what she was
detecting? Maybe what she was feeling. She was detecting you believe something dark in the basement.

Weatherford manager Drew Purcell and three other people witnessed unexplained
poltergeist activity at one of the hotel bars.
We were chatting with these two guests who were visiting.
I think it was a honeymoon and they were asking Caitlin about the hauntings
because we have a reputation for that.
And moments after that, a bottle which was up on a shelf
and it was, you know, pushed back.
It wasn’t hanging off the end of the shelf.
It just spontaneously drops right down and shattered.
Immediately looking around, the doors were all closed, there were no vents up there.
Debunked all these things one by one.
So I still have no non-supernatural hypothesis for what happened.
Drew volunteers some information about the history of the Weatherford.
When Henry bought the place in the mid-70s, the ads for the place, they were advertising,
you know, just for, like, weekly rates.
in the middle of Drew’s interview, one of my crew members collapses without warning
and hits his head on a chair.
First responders arrive to take his vitals and can find absolutely nothing wrong with
him.
Gavin, who sometimes operates camera during our interviews,
is very confused and scared.
I think so.

I was just standing, operating camera,
we’re doing an interview downstairs in the basement,
and I guess I passed out.

Lauren is especially shaken by what has just happened.

We decide to drop everything and immediately investigate the basement where our crew
collapsed and where Henry and Sam have felt a negative energy that Sam believes
killed their dog Mona. I begin with a Polter Pod session in the area where our
crew member was struck down. What is the name of the spirit that attacked our
crew member?
Whoa, I got a whi- you guys. This went up to like a seven.
It’s right in the corner. It’s in the corner. Where that happened to him.

I decide to try to provoke the bad spirit
that Sam told us about.

We move towards the darkened utility room, and I bring out the digital recorder. Can you talk to us? We know that you’re here. I can see you breathing. I just got this weird vision of this guy. He’s going… When I say that, I have to speak it. It was a weird image back there in the corner. He’s got this… He’s got a really bad stomach pain. Just, like, a stabbing pain just suddenly right here. Did you put red spot on your neck? Who, me? Oh, you do. Look at the back of his neck. Little red spot there behind your ear. I can feel it, man. At the same time that I have a disturbing vision of a man breathing heavily, Jay feels intense stomach pains and receives what might be a scratch mark. It’s getting longer. It is getting longer. Tony, it’s something I felt. Oh, God, it’s getting way more red. Oh, wow, there’s spikes like crazy. For real? 8.2, yes. What are you doing? Oh, I think I just saw something on the camera. 13, 12, 14. Why are you doing this? What are we doing wrong that you don’t like? There goes crew member number two. What the f is going on here, man?

As you can see, there were no marks on the wall
before Jay was attacked.

It has become terrifyingly clear
that we have been lured into a confined space
by something with violent tendencies.

So we can’t say for 100% that our crew member collapsed due to a spirit,
But, I mean, we can’t explain it.
I mean, we had the paramedics here,
the fire department, the ambulance.
They can’t explain it.
So what we’re gonna do right now,
we are here with Henry and Sam’s daughter, Chelsea.

Chelsea lived in the hotel for the first ten years of her life
As a little girl, I was always afraid to come into this hallway because it felt like there was a spirit

Falling out of a window who did that a woman? She was here
She’s going through a divorce at the time
and thought she could crawl onto the balcony from her window
and her hands just let go and she fell to her death
down into the smoke alley below.
What room was she staying in?
Room 59.
On our way to room 59, we pass the former room 54,
which has a reputation for being particularly active.
Yeah, we turned it into the maid’s closet
because there was so much action.
What do you mean, there was so much activity
that guests couldn’t stay in it?
Correct, yeah.
I talked to Susan Johnson, a local historian and author,
about the dark history of Room 54.
Apparently, in the 1940s,
a couple arrived in Flagstaff for their honeymoon.
They went into Room 54.
They were not seen for days.
The front desk people were a little bit worried after a point,
And then they came upstairs and they had to break down the door.
They found the bride laid out on the bed in her wedding gown and her groom was sitting
slumped over in a chair by the bed with a gun on the floor next to his hand.
So they assumed it was a murder-suicide.
What kind of venomous force has the power to drive a man to such depths at what should
be the happiest moment of his life.
We move from room 54 to room 59,
where the woman mysteriously fell to her death in 2005.
We are dealing with a very strong place,
a place that has tried to stop us in our investigation.
But I can’t get that vision out
of my head of not only what I saw in the basement,
but also a man who was shooting in his room
at imaginary people…
And then ended up getting shot and killed himself.
Was he being tormented by the same spirits
that I believe just attacked one of my crew members,
and Jay, two in one night?
That’s not a coincidence.
I don’t think that we are fully capable in understanding the magnitude of power that we are dealing with here.
It’s at a whole other level.
And if this keeps on and gets stronger, we could be in serious danger.
After a much needed night of sleep, we return to the hotel to review some evidence in preparation for our lockdown investigation.

We left trap camps in the hotel last night.
This one was on for maybe 30 minutes

and this very strange anomaly
appears to attack the camera lens.

does something to it, and it’s like it didn’t want to be filmed.
The fact that Gavin was operating a camera
when he was rendered unconscious
could be further evidence of something here
not wanting to be filmed.
I think there’s something very serious
going on in the basement.

Jay got a mark on his neck.
Jay acted stranger than I’ve ever seen
on any investigation.
I got aggression.
Henry wants to kill Jay.
I was able to control myself and move out of that area
before it went further.
Ambulances, fire trucks were called for a crew member
who went unconscious in the same spot.
So it’s a hell of an interview day.
But I want to take it to the next step
and see whether or not these anomalies
are a part of something that could manifest bigger for us.
If this is the Algernon entity,
We need to further investigate down there to see how much more evidence of this entity we can get.
We’re going to prepare for lockdown right now, but I will say, I think we really need to be careful.
I have a really bad feeling. I think something here is really pissed off that we’re trying to expose it.

Bro, I pushed the door, and then it just opened up. Whoa. I just got an anomaly coming out of the room, Aaron. Watch what happens here. As Aaron gently nudges the door, something then forcefully pulls it open with aggression. What the fuck was that? Now watch as my full-spectrum camera captures these two anomalies come from down the hallway as they reach the door one splits off turns 90 degrees and goes into the room as the other one comes directly at us. Like, I literally pushed it a little bit, and I’m getting pulled along with it. So I was here, and I pushed it. And you felt someone pull it back? I felt someone pull it back. We’re going to use one of the most basic pieces of paranormal equipment, but also one that we absolutely love and that we started using when this thing was created from day one. See these balls? And then to let me know that this is a spirit and we’re getting creeped out because it’s actually speaking to us, it ended with, all right, I’ll tell you an item that’s in this maid’s quarters, a mop. That’s crazy. Guys? What? There’s a fing mop over here.
