we have come back to Colston Bassett St
Mary’s
uh if you guys been on the channel for a
while you’ll know we’ve been here many
times
and experienced many strange things
um it’s probably one of the most active
churches we’ve ever investigated
a lot of history to this place as well
as you can see we are standing inside
the church which is now a ruin
um and there are different parts of this
church which date back to different
areas in time
and there’s been a lot of Redevelopment
on it over different periods
um
I think when did the Redevelopment start
was it like the 1500s there’s a board
over here which um
tells you
so
so 30 essentially 1200s
is where some of the columns are from
dating back to the 1200s then
they built some more of it in the 15th
century
and
um
but there are actually bits of this
church which date back to over a
thousand years back to the Anglo-Saxon
period and it actually says on here that
there’s
um bits that are carved into the stone
Anglo-Saxon carvings basically I’m not
where they actually are
um you can see like
these are the Anglo-Saxon carvings
um but
I’m not 100 sure
exactly where that is in the church
um if I come across it then
we’ll film it but it could pretty much
be anywhere
um it’s quite a large
place this is
um massive graveyard as well in this
location which actually surrounds it in
a complete 360 degrees and this is the
back part of the graveyard
we’ve had quite a lot of activity uh
Spirit Box EVPs and stuff down the
bottom area down there near a couple of
the big two rooms
um
and you would have just seen the front
part of the graveyard which we walked
through
before the intro
but it’s been a while since we’ve been
here
me and David actually tried to come and
film here
a few months back on it now
yeah
um and we we got here a nice night like
this
and then all of a sudden
it started actually Chuck it down the
rain so we had to call it off
um so
yeah I thought we’d come back
do some EVPs
do a bit of spirit box and stuff
and um
yeah see what happens
hopefully
we’ll get quite a lot of stuff happen
like we usually do here
yeah we always get really good
communication yeah
especially unlike um Spirit Box and
we’ve had really good EVPs here
we’ve not
um used the dr60 recorder here
no so uh
we’ll use that tonight
see if we pick up any EVPs of that
um
but yeah this place can go one of two
ways sometimes
you’ll come here and you’ll have really
Pleasant communication
and you’ll come in contact with all of
the Nice Spirits here and stuff but it
all also has like a a darker side I
don’t know where that comes from
but um a couple of times we’ve been here
we’ve come into contact with something a
little bit more negative
um I believe it’s a woman
from what we’ve had before
and I don’t know if she’s
it feels protective of this place or or
what I don’t know but um
yeah she has come through quite a few
times and
um actually physically affected us as
well as
shout some things down Spirit Box and
stuff like that and also growls growls
are a big thing here as well we’ve had a
lot of growls captured on the camera
mics and things like that so yeah we’ll
see see what happens tonight

is invoking something evil because
