back to that exact location to the Blackford County Jail that’s right it has been a long time since we have been to the Blackford County jail and like you said last time was with the foremans and we got some really weird stuff there especially at the end of the night yeah the most wild and bizarre piece of physical visual paranormal evidence that we’ve ever captured we captured here at this location and we were shocked by this clip and still to this day we can’t explain it I mean you could even hear it on a freaking heart coming along with along with is Miranda Miranda’s in the back are you excited I’m very excited I’ve never been um I have heard a lot about it from you guys so yeah very excited yes it is a really really cool spot I think you’re gonna like it and um I’m excited to see if the energy that we experienced last time is still there waiting for us I am too we’re rolling up now yes we are it’s coming up right up here I know I went the wrong way tonight’s down this way oh it’s right down there but I can’t go that way oh so much instruction once again our plan of getting there correctly has been foiled so now that we’ve had to take a detour we’re gonna make a left here and then we’re gonna be at the Blackford County Jail it’s never simple as it never is when you see that big orange road closed sign you know you’re in trouble now it is right up here on the left oh snap it was right down there where the road was closed again we can’t get to our location once again how does one there’s a giant pile of gravel in that road how do we get here oh wow um maybe if I turn here I can go around the back of it it says Road closed ahead so let’s see what happens I think we can just park right park up right there on the left right foreign because this is the entry door yes all right we’ve made it let’s head into the Blackford County jail and see what tonight has to offer and hopefully this construction ends at uh normal business hours and uh this is not going to affect the investigation but let’s head inside let’s go thank you it is so good to be back in the Blackford County Jail it is good to be back it has been several years since we’ve been here and some of the stuff that we captured last time I am eager to see if we can have maybe some repeat uh evidence or maybe some new stuff I’m excited and you’ve never been here Miranda no I haven’t and first impression very creepy um and I’m very excited I hope we get a lot of spooky stuff happen tonight yes and speaking of spooky stuff right here where we’re standing when we were here in January of 2021 we captured probably the most shocking paranormal evidence on video that we have ever captured in the 12 13 years that we’ve been doing these investigations and filming them but it all stems back to a story that we were told by Dan he talked about gnomes was what Dan the owner of this building called them they set up a camera by that door facing this way to cover anything wanted this door facing that way cover anything and went to sleep well about three o’clock they said I’m going off their story they woke up and they saw the gnome climbing the inside of that door right there jumped up on top rattled a few bottles and jumped off the other side and they said yes we got him we got him went to that camera turned off went to this camera went toward the wall so this is a manifestation or a sighting that’s that multiple people have seen it’s not just somewhere else yeah yeah prior to that just me the small creature thing whatever it is I mean I’ve heard people call it an elemental I’ve heard people call it a pug wedgie I’ve heard different things you know people say hey there’s a troll in here I have no idea what it is and that may seem very far-fetched and may seem a little strange to a lot of people and it did to us at the time but really there’s we have no idea what these things were that he apparently had seen and other people had seen all over this jail well we investigated that night with the foreman Brothers paranormal Nightmare and we were all over the jail for the last session and we ended right here Sean Foreman was coming right out of this doorway all of us in tow behind him and as he walked into the sheriff’s office right here he saw this very short Shadow move across the floor and he heard it with his ears too that Kevin I’m here that the cat is in that’s the office right there that’s the room the sheriff died some just took off freaking running did it this battery he was sitting over here now he’s asleep on the couch what the was that I mean you could even hear it on the freaking carpet oh good is that cabin here but as Sean walked into that room he saw this short shadow that he couldn’t explain and it just so happened that you were standing right behind him filming him Dave yeah I mean we came right out of this doorway here like you said headed straight into the Sheriff’s Office and I just remember him letting out you know the the sounds that he makes from time to time and we all it was kind of a blur we all just kind of took off running because he for sure saw something down there and we managed to capture it uh with the camera and when you watch it it’s in front of him and he and we had to slow it way down in order to see it but when you slow it down you can see it move from right to left in front of him and the easiest way to see it is to look at the little display on the space heater that was in front of him because you can see it completely block out that reflection on the display of that space heater so something passed very quickly in front of him he saw it we captured it was it a gnome we don’t know we have no idea what it was but if anyone watching has any idea let us know in the comments below let us know let us that lived here they appointed Ed Townsend Sheriff four days after they appoint him Sheriff he dies of a massive heart attack in the Sheriff’s Office over there and so the sheriffs after that didn’t live here Sheriff Townsend was Sheriff here for four days four days after he was appointed as Sheriff of Blackford County he was working in this office and he had a massive heart attack and passed away at his desk and a lot of people believe that they’ve seen the spirit of sheriff Edward Townsend including the owner Dan yeah Dan told me that early on he had an experience in the upstairs of a guy that walked into his room like a couple years after he lived here which it would have been in the early 2000s he said the guy had black pants and like a white T-shirt on he goes to the foot of my bed like this turns around it looks right at me with a sparkly blue gray eyes so I looked at him kind of studied what he was wearing everything about him and about 20 seconds later he stood back up and he just walked out again and didn’t look down at me again but he talked to a local historian about it and the guy said he described dead towns into a TV so he thinks that he actually saw Ed Townsend in here they do believe that his spirit is still here and with him passing away right here I think this would be a good spot to put an abandonment camera later tonight I agree creepy um we’ve had all kind of activity up there actually it’s like more of kind of a hot spot to me um I was in there last year I guess it was at night we heard footsteps I heard actually like six steps going up the upstairs because I mean it was so loud it just sounded like me or you walking up the stairs and then we didn’t hear anything I came out there and I was counting the steps and I was like one two three there’s six steps there foreign easy Dave that’s literally me there he is who would have thought portrait of Dave in the Blackford County Jail there I am now this room here this used to actually be Dan’s bedroom um when they lived here in the jail and he experienced several things in this bedroom did he not he did 3 30 in the morning same night I hear and you’ll see the steps going up to the attic over here I hear somebody heavy footed walking down the step they wanted to be heard and I get up and I look at my clock so stand there like this I’m waiting nothing Boom the door comes flying open and I was swinging the air imagining living in here is entirely different and they lived here four years moved in in 96 and lived here until 2020 22 I think just just last year they moved out of here so years and years of paranormal experiences in this jail I mean we’ve got actual video of an apparition from the kid’s room there was a group in here that came two years ago they were doing some provoking because they told me they were outside the the kids room and they were looking in there and we’ve actually got video of something going like super fast like I mean it’s just like 90 miles an hour like right in that door and when you slow it down you can see it like frame by frame this thing peeking out and there’s not anywhere to stand right there it’s like this much behind the door so that was like probably one of the craziest videos I’ve seen here this was also where funny enough and probably one of the funniest paranormal Clips I’ve seen and it comes from the foreman Brothers as well they told us all about how they were sitting in this room and the door to the attic slammed it’s right there the door put the oh it’s an attic yeah stop stop no don’t stop was that you but I mean it would have been very startling so this whole area from the sheriff’s bedroom to the staircase to the attic it all is charged with Paranormal Activity from the experiences of these sheriffs these people these families living here and who knows what we could capture tonight it’s hard to tell if he goes uh we fill a lot of stuff with kids up in the attic but I mean maybe there’s other stuff up there also but um we do definitely sense kids in the attic and we’ve had stuff on audio and a few pictures and stuff to go along with that idea but I mean the kids would have probably played in the Attic you know so now one of the most interesting stories of this attic I think is the story and the rumor that they may have done executions up here and you can see how this would be perfectly set up to perform them now there’s no records of that ever happening but the thing is just because there are no records of it happening doesn’t mean it didn’t happen but that also doesn’t mean that it did but it says a lot that if they needed to use this for that if they needed to use this for executions they could I was upstairs with a friend of mine not too long ago and he touched the Noose in this thing it was about that big a round shot across there like 90 miles an hour and it wasn’t a bug and then I’ve had other people that have saw that and have caught stuff on camera so that was right around the Noose area so if I don’t get activity in here it’s shocking I get stuff in here all the time and down we go Miranda just casually walks by the shackles yeah this is definitely the creepiest part of the house I’ve had I’ve had some crazy stuff in there I took a picture there about a year and a half or so ago in there a rim pod went off at the time I snapped a picture and this picture looks like basically an x-ray is on this lady’s chest it looks like two legs standing on a ladies I’ve never had a picture like that in 20 years ago stunning so I was pretty interesting picture I took down there they believe this area might have been used as solitary confinement if you can imagine especially in this area back in here locked up in solitary confinement underneath of this place amongst all of this stone that can trap the energy and hold the energy who knows what type of Paranormal Activity is down here I think the creepiest part though is right in the middle there where there’s just like a room and the only way that leads to it is that tiny window yes yeah they say there were actually sales down here and that they were at one point blocked in and that this would have been a sale like solitary confinement in the early years and the cells no longer are accessible that’s crazy okay there’s one place left to go and that is the cells Worthy inmates were actually incarcerated the main attraction the main attraction even though there were sales possibly down here we have to see the cells that still exist yes let’s go check it out let’s go check it out this area right here where I’m sitting in right now is this would have been the men’s area we’ve got four cells in here the drunk tank is on the other side back there actually used to be a cell before they got running water then it turned into the shower room I’ve had I’ve heard some uh weird numbers as far as like how many inmates I could have in here I actually read something that said they could have 189 prisoners in this trial one time now whether they ever had anywhere close to that I have no idea now there are four cells in here they could have housed an incarcerated multiple inmates multiple prisoners there’s a lot of stories in here of inmates that took their own lives possibly some that were eliminated for other reasons and one of those inmates is James Barrett James Barrett was in this cell right here and according to the stories and the documentation and the history he was very closely involved with the sheriff of Blackford County so close in fact James Barrett and the sheriff both committed criminal acts together robbing banks strange things and after James Barrett was caught strangely enough he passed away he turned up dead in this cell you know the sheriff got sent up to Michigan City and when James was getting ready to go to court they find him hanging back here so it’s like I just really don’t feel like but I I have a feeling that it was not done by his own choice so yeah James if you’re here and he would like to tell us all about what happened to you and set the record straight I’m sure you’ve told other people before but this is your chance to let us know exactly what happened to you whether your criminal actions led to some less than ideal situations with some very powerful people or whether you were just fed up with all of it and didn’t want to go to prison we’d love to hear the full story we’d love to know exactly what happened to you James I think it’s about time but we go lights out and we start the investigation of Blackford County Jail you getting ready to leave the Blackford County Jail empty for about an hour while we go get something to eat yes to see what happens when this place is completely empty so right now we’re standing in the men’s cell block there’s four cells down here including James Barrett’s cell which is right here behind us brand new toy right Dave that’s right we got a brand new item on the show on the channel we’ve got the Paranormal tripwire you may have seen us use it when we were in Australia or when we were working with Kalani at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary but this is ours now we actually purchased a paranormal tripwire each one of these nodes is like its own EMF detector so you can set it down a hallway and each one you can actually track electromagnetic frequencies as they travel along the tripwire so we will see putting the end of it near the wheel where the entrance is all the way to James Barrett’s cell leading straight to the rempod who knows what it’ll do that’s right down below our feet in the basement down in the tunnels we have the action cam set up with the Mel meter and two cat balls now that was apparently solitary confinement down there and there are cells that were actually covered over cells that you can’t access anymore so who knows what ancient history that basement those tunnels hide it’s hard to tell see what activity happens down there up on the second floor over in the sheriff’s bedroom we have a camera set up and of course we have the piccolo the EMF music box set up right at the base of the stairs leading up to the Attic they believe a lot of children went to play in the attic and if there is the energy for the spirits of children maybe they’ll get close to that EMF music box and make the music play that would be amazing it would be right out here in the hallway right outside this cell block we have another camera pointing into the Sheriff’s Office the same angle where we caught that short Shadow two years ago same place where Ed Townsend the sheriff had a heart attack and passed away we have the Paranormal music box set up outside the office we have a camera pointing through the door and we have one of those vibration activated cat balls sitting in the doorway so if anything touches it moves it it’ll light up we’ll see what happens when the Blackford County Jail is completely empty we’re gonna leave We’re Gonna EMF and some people believe that Paranormal Activity can cause unexplained spikes of electromagnetic fields so is it possible that someone we can’t see just walk past the piccolo making it alarm we’re going to start with an SLS sweep of the first floor cell block that’s the mill meter on the stairs yes when we got back to start breaking down abandonment Miranda is adamant as she saw a shadow right out here at the base of the stairs so we have put the Paranormal trip wire and the mel-meter on the stairs as well as the piccolo we’ve got a music box and rim pod over in the cell block and might be giving a false positive and it could be mistaking this little sliver of wall as a humanoid shape so we can’t say this SLS figure is Paranormal could James Barrett be inside this cell we’ll I’d say maybe since you put the put that on it’s gone off like five times oh wow but everything upstairs is completely silent which is very odd to me because like in the Attic yeah in the Attic everything’s been silent in the Attic but what’s weird is is the the Mel Ram was going crazy down on the first floor now it’s silent up there right we don’t mean you any harm we’re not here to pester it’s possible for us to hear you if it’s possible for you to move things generating uh white background with a black crow with it looks like the crow has a tear and then there’s something in the background of the crow but I can’t make it out hmm very clearly a crying Crow a crying Crow I wonder if there was an inmate of the last name that’s possible because Seer is not necessarily the generated image is not influenced by anything Environmental what is influenced by environmental readings or the words that Seer receives to generate the image so Crow could be someone’s name that’s back on the other side so so we’ve got all kinds of devices set up we’ve got a the uh Mel in here with us we’ve got a music box in here with us Ryan has the tripwire the piccolo cat balls Rim pod all of that going on back there hopefully we can get something to happen he said that the cat ball was already going off back there so all right if there are any Spirits here and you can hear me my name is Dave this is Miranda and Ryan is sitting in the Center in there he’s got headphones on and he’s listening to a radio he can hear your responses but I’m gonna ask questions and Miranda’s gonna ask questions can you come through and tell us what your name is please videos are you okay yes are you okay miss me did they used to lock you up down here did they use this as solitary no were there ever people kept down here were there cells down here It’s Gonna be Me can you go in there and tell Ryan what your name is please what did you do to get locked in this place did you hurt somebody monster rule interesting no didn’t hurt anybody so what did you do to get put down here or put in this jail not much room did you steal money down how many of us are down here can you tell me nice is there what year it is take me we’re coming back here is that okay if you want us to leave can you tell us to leave did they keep you locked down here away from everybody else listen guys or girls or officers inmates we just came down here to talk to you so we’d love for you to come out and talk to us please I’m having trouble concentrating at this point in the night the heat has taken all of the energy for me and it’s taking everything in my power to stay focused on the voices coming through the Spirit Box this is the sixth investigation in a row where outside temperatures were near or exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit do you have anything you want to say about the attic it’s hot so after 11 hours of filming to say we’re exhausted is an understatement Dave does take over the Estus for about 10 minutes but nothing seems to want to talk to us oh wow I’m not really hearing anything it’s always been a desire for us to return to the Blackford County Jail the place that just two and a half years ago we caught something that challenged our understanding of the Paranormal like that it was for concerning but tonight it seems the jail is quiet The Only Exception being the mill meter on the first floor at the very beginning of the night whoa even though quiet nights inside haunted locations are frustrating it is important for paranormal investigation it’s important to remember that this unexplained activity doesn’t happen all the time we’re not trying to make you perform because these Quiet Moments make the shocking moments this is just to see if you can actually hear us to see if you can that much more shocking still speak to us wow oh my God it’s all just another piece of the puzzle in our paranormal Quest if you saw something that we didn’t remember to leave us a comment
