In this episode, Midwest Ghost Hunter Ian embarks on a solo investigation at the Rose Lawn Cemetery, reputed to be one of Minnesota’s most haunted locations. The cemetery, dating back to 1886, is known for numerous paranormal activities, including disembodied galloping, whispers, footsteps, malfunctioning electronics, and sightings of shadowy figures. The most infamous spirit, Smiling Jack, is said to be trapped in a mausoleum and frequently calls for help.
Ian explores various mausoleums, encounters eerie sounds, and experiences several inexplicable events. He hears footsteps, sees shadows, and captures orbs on camera. In one notable encounter, an angel statue appears to move on its own, and Ian successfully communicates with a spirit using a K2 meter. His most intense experience involves hearing a man’s voice and sensing a ghostly presence while investigating the grave of Colonel William Marshall’s warhorse, Don.
Throughout the investigation, Ian bravely faces his fears, documenting his findings and capturing several paranormal activities on camera. The episode culminates with Ian encountering Smiling Jack’s mausoleum, where he hears banging sounds and faint voices, intensifying the haunting atmosphere of the cemetery.
